Master of Education and P-12 Reading Programs

Currently accepting applications for Master of Education and P-12 Reading Programs for Spring 2011.

The Master of Education (MED) program was created to provide learning opportunities that address the professional development needs of today’s educators. By design, the program leads to the advancement of knowledge and instructional skills that provide the foundation for quality classroom instruction.

The Teaching & Curriculum strand is designed to provide K-12 educators the skills and dispositions needed to be successful in constantly changing and ever-diverse environments such as classrooms, schools, and local communities.

The P-12 Reading strand is designed for teachers wishing to become more expert in the teaching of reading both in classroom and resource settings. Graduates must pass the Introduction to the Teaching of Reading Praxis II Specialty Test to be eligible for a P-12 Ohio Reading Endorsement.
