Find us on FacebookLourdes College welcomes students transferring from other institutions of higher education and has formed articulations with Owens Community College, Terra Community College, Northwest State Community College and Monroe County Community College. Credit is granted for coursework earned (with a grade of "C" or better) at regionally accredited colleges and universities. A formal credit evaluation will be completed once the Office of Admissions has received all official transcripts (use our Transcript Request Form).

Lourdes operates on a rolling admission policy. When all credentials for your application have been received, your Admissions Coordinator will review the file and notify you in writing within two weeks.

Transfer Credits for Undergraduates:

  • u.select (a course applicability system) is a website designed with the transfer student in mind. If you are planning to transfer to Lourdes College, you can create an account or log in as a guest to determine which classes will transfer, and even create a planning guide for your major.

Undergraduate Transfer Admission Requirements
Please read this page carefully before submitting your application. Qualified applicants are admitted regardless of gender, race, color, age, veteran status, ethnic origin or physical ability. The credentials of each applicant are individually evaluated, with consideration given to academic record, entrance examination scores, and evidence of motivation of college studies. The college reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant.

Admission Status:

Regular Admission
Students are admitted to the college with no restrictions when the following criteria are met:
  • 2.0 cumulated grade point average from all previously attended institutions

Conditional Admission
Students may be admitted on a conditional basis by the Director of Admissions if they do not meet the requirement for regular admission. Students admitted on a conditional basis will:

  • Meet with a Lourdes College academic advisor during the time the
    student is taking ND 106: College Study Skills and all preparatory courses, or
    until a G.P.A. of 2.0 is achieved (whichever is longer).
  • Complete ND 106: College Study Skills in the first semester at Lourdes
    College.
  • Complete preparatory courses within the first 12 to 15 semester hours at the
    College.
  • Do not exceed 13 credit hours per semester for the first two semesters at
    Lourdes College.
  • Contact the academic advisor for tutorial referral if academic difficulty is
    experienced.
