Vice President for Student Services
As Vice President for Student Services, Roseanne Gill-Jacobson led the development and implementation of Lourdes’ residential housing which can now accommodate more than 350 students, and NAIA athletic program, which has grown to include a dozen men’s and women’s sports as well as competitive cheer and dance. She oversees all departments in the Office of Student Life including Athletics, Diversity and Multicultural Student Services, Dining Services, Residence Life, Student Activities and Recreation, TRiO Programs (Student Support Program and Upward Bound), and Title IX.
Prior to her arrival at Lourdes, Roseanne served for 10 years as Vice President of Student Life at Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. In addition to overseeing the College’s Student Life programming, she also led Athletics, serving for several years as Interim Athletic Director where she led a department consisting of 19 NCAA Division Three sports and competitive cheer and dance teams. At Thiel, she implemented a comprehensive First Year Experience program as well as a Let’s Do Lunch program offering students an opportunity to take a faculty or staff member to lunch in the college’s cafeteria so classroom discussion could turn into open conversation in a casual atmosphere.
Roseanne has served on various community boards and committees with organizations such as Easter Seals and the Incredible Community Playground. As a committee member with the Marietta Area Chamber of Commerce, she assisted in the establishment of the leadership development training program, Telesis, a program that has been running for the past 20 years. Roseanne earned a B.S. degree and M.Ed. degree from Ohio University.
