Life Lab Instructors

The Life Lab has been at Lourdes since 1989, and this year, we're celebrating our 20th anniversary. Many of our visitors refer to us as a “hidden jewel.” Nestled on our beautiful campus, the Lab is supported by Lourdes and the Sisters of St. Francis, and is a respected community outreach program. Our primary role has been to provide hands-on natural science education. We work with area schools, host field trips six times a week through the school year, and offer a four-week Summer Science Camp. We also support existing teachers and pre-service teachers with resources that include but are not limited to life cycle kits (for butterfly and moth). The Lab offers an indoor and outdoor learning experience that includes seasonal themes, native plants and animals.
