By following these parking instructions, Theater Vision drivers enjoy quick and easy access to parking. Following these instructions helps assure the safety of student groups, staff and volunteers, and campus neighbors. Please make sure your group has filled out the Transportation Survey located on our website at www.lourdes.edu/theater

Arriving in Cars

Theater Vision participants in cars enter the Main Lourdes University entrance drive off Convent Boulevard. "Theater Parking: Cars" signs, visible from Convent Boulevard, mark this entrance. A Theater Parking Pass (enclosed) should be displayed in each driver's window. If you need additional passes, email theatervision@lourdes.edu or call Mary at 419-824-3986.

Arriving in Buses

Every bus must have a sign with the name of the school they represent displayed in the driver's side window. Buses carrying Theater Vision participants will enter the west drive off Convent Blvd marked with a "Bus Entrance" sign. Buses will circle the Franciscan Center and unload students on the sidewalk outside of the Center.

Buses may park off campus, half a mile away, at the St. Joseph Elementary Bus Lot. All buses must report tot he St. Joseph lot before returning to the Franciscan Center for pick up. Parking lot volunteers will dismiss buses from the St. Joseph lot. A volunteer with a radio will be stationed in the bus parking lot.

Entering the Theater

Cars: Audience members arriving by car should follow the instructions from the volunteers and proceed in the coned walkway to the theater. Students must be supervised at all times! No running is permitted. Each group will need to check in with a volunteer at the entrance of the theater

Buses: Teachers should lead their groups off buses and proceed to the Franciscan Center entrance indicated on their group tickets. Tickets will be collected by a volunteer at the entrance.

Do not assemble groups outside the protected area of the cross walk. Instead, meet on the walkway leading to the Franciscan Center, away from the entrance drive. In cold weather, groups may assemble inside the building. Your group will be guided to the correct Entrance Door.

Be patient, proceed with caution, and pay close attention to any directions given by the Deputies and Parking Lot Assistants, who volunteer their time to assure your safety.
