"Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." – 1 Peter 4:9-10

We've spent a total of four days together and two days on the worksite. Each day we've grown closer as a team, almost like a family. Today, we finished painting the walls, grouting the kitchen floors and tiling the bathroom and we laid down laminate floors in the front room.

We went to a church for a Lenten luncheon and service. Bishop Morgan led the sermon. He was very energetic and we raised our hands and shouted "Hallelujah" to the heavens. Then we ate lunch with the church and met some of the people there; they welcomed us to their community.

We've gotten to know many of the volunteers on the site as they've taught us new skills. Tom, the Habitat director, has been a great guide and very friendly as we progressed through the early stages of our experiences. We spent another day with the soon-to-be owner, Ms. Howard, who is very open and is very thankful for everyone's help and service. Even with her limited resources, she is very generous and kind.

We've learned a lot and are anticipating many more experiences to come!
