MBA Graduate Assistantships & Scholarship

The MBA Program awards graduate assistantships that include a stipend for working for approximately 10 hours per week during the 2014–2015 academic year. MBA Assistantships include actively participating in the full-time MBA program and a work assignment such as: collaborating with College of Business and Leadership faculty and staff in preparing for International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) accreditation; serving as a Resource Specialist for undergraduate business students in the Lourdes University Center for Professional Studies; or working on resource development for the College of Business and Leadership.

To be eligible for consideration for an assistantship, candidates must

  • Be admitted to the Fall 2014 full-time MBA program 
  • Submit their Intent to Enroll form to the Graduate School 
  • Complete an MBA Graduate Assistantship Application (below) in its entirety and submit it to the Graduate School.

Additionally, the MBA program competitively awards scholarships for up to ½ of the tuition for the entire program.

All awards will be made on a rolling basis, beginning April 1, 2014.

Graduate Assistantship Application

Full-Time MBA Program
2014-15 Academic Year

The MBA Graduate Assistantships include actively participating in the full-time MBA program and a work assignment such as the following, but not limited to:

  1. Collaborating with College of Business and Leadership faculty and staff in preparing for International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) accreditation
  2. Serving as a Resource Specialist for undergraduate business students in the Lourdes University Center for Professional Studies
  3. Working on COBAL outreach initiatives for current students, alumni and faculty/staff
  4. Supporting the COBAL student business clubs and social media/COBAL news updates to business students, business faculty and business alumni

All MBA Graduate Assistantships requires an average of 16 to 24 hours per week during the academic year (Late August through Mid-July) when classes are in session. The normal working hours will be Monday thru Friday, primarily during the afternoon hours and located in a graduate assistant office.

By signing below, I submit my application for consideration for a graduate assistantship in the MBA Program for fall 2014. I understand that the MBA Graduate Assistantship Program runs concurrently with cohorts and if the University changes the start date of a cohort, which it may do without warning, the Graduate Assistantship start date will also be changed.
