Franciscan Academy of Lourdes University

The Franciscan Academy is a preschool to grade 8 Catholic school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio. The mission of the Academy is: “The Franciscan Academy of Lourdes University, a community of learners, provides all students with the opportunity to reach their personal best, excel academically, and become messengers of peace by showing reverence and respect for all of God’s creation.”  

The Franciscan Academy Learning Community model will benefit all learners, allowing education students at Lourdes to work with young children through both their education courses and service learning experiences.  Working together collaboratively, all members support the highest quality education of the whole child.
