Haiti team arrives in Pestel, meets with locals

We are in Pestel now, and had a team meeting before having Sr. Fidelis' famous pumpkin soup. The team is comprised of a medical student, residents, and an assortment of physicians from various specialities, pharmacist, Hatian physicians, residents, a law student, translators, and lab technicians.

Transcultural nursing in the "Kingdom of the Sky"

During the upcoming accelerated January session, 10 nursing students and 2 Lourdes professors will travel to a small sovereign enclave in Africa to engage in a transcultural nursing experience. The small country is the Kingdom of Lesotho.
