Advising Services/ Program Director - Teddi Moorman, 419-824-3837

  • Program Information: Answering questions about the TRiO program and services.
  • Advising: Academic Consultation.
  • Student Advisory Board: TRiO members' organization. Opportunity to share and contribute ideas for TRiO programming and events.
  • Disability Services: Accommodating special needs due to disability or extended illness.

Academic Skills Coordinator - Nicole Rollins 419-824-3706

  • Writing Consultation: Assistance with writing papers of any kind, at any stage of the writing process, from getting started to citing sources.
  • Learning and Study Skills Consultation: Assistance in developing stronger thinking and learning skills, such as time management, taking tests, etc.
  • Newsletter: TRiO’s monthly news update placed in campus mailboxes and student email. Students are encouraged to contribute articles.

Learning Enhancement Coordinator - Christine Miller, 419-824-3523

  • Professional and Peer Tutoring: Intensive, free tutoring, in any subject area that fits into your schedule.
  • Mentoring Program: Linking new students with experienced ones in order to assist with the transition to college life.
  • Technology Training: PowerPoint, Database, Word Processing, Internet Search, APA and MLA styles and formats.
  • Resource Library: Laptops, recorders, texts, study guides, software, and music CD’s that TRiO students can borrow.

Counseling Services - Kathy Daley, 419-824-3803

  • Personal Counseling: Confidential counseling surrounding personal issues affecting ability to succeed.
  • Career Counseling: Determining career interests, developing resumes and interviewing skills, and job searching.
  • Graduate School: Selecting and applying to graduate schools. Graduate School visits.
  • Zeta Delta Chi Advisor: Membership in Lourdes' community service organization.
  • Cultural Events: Attendance and scheduling of special events on and off campus. Cost of attendance sponsored by TRiO.

Student Liaison - Janet Smith, 419-824-3836

  • Program Information: General information about the program, services, and scheduling.
  • Updating Information: Maintaining student files and database statistics.
  • Confirmation of Events: Taking R.S.V.P.'s and encouraging members to sign up for events.
  • Recruiter: Recruiting new members throughout the year.
