Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes

Fitness classes are available to students and employees who are interested in convenient, reasonable workouts taught by experienced instructors. The classes may vary from semester to semester. Unless otherwise stated, the cost for classes is as follows:

The cost is $30 for full time students and $40 for alumni, faculty and staff for the first class. The first six registrants will receive a spot in the spin classes. Once you have registered and paid for your class, you are invited to attend any other fitness class (except spin). Please register only for the class that you pay for. A minimum of six paid registrations are needed per class. Additional classes you may attend are considered "drop in," and there is no charge for that. Please register below and drop your payment off at the Welcome Center in a sealed envelope with your name, contact information and the class you plan to attend.

All classes will begin the week of September 16 on their designated days and run for ten weeks.

Body Sculpting: Tuesdays at 10 a.m.–11 a.m.

A full body toning class appropriate for all exercisers using free weights and fitballs to achieve total body conditioning. There will be an emphasis on abdominal training. Burn more fat while gaining lean muscle in the body!

Yoga: Tuesdays at 6 p.m.–7 p.m.

Relax and improve flexibility with instructor Nicole Losie in one-hour yoga classes in the FC gym. Participants are asked to bring a mat to class.

Spin: Fridays at 9 a.m.–10 a.m. | Saturdays at 10 a.m.–11 a.m.

Experience the journey: Ride the flats and hills, seated, standing, jumping, and sprinting. This is a mega calorie burner with no impact. Our spinning class is appropriate for beginners as well as advanced spinners and can be modified to meet your level of fitness. Class is limited to the first 6 participants.
