No Show Policy

The Career Services department helps students make the transition from the classroom to the professional workforce. A scheduled meeting or interview is a professional commitment. Please understand that a form of notice should be given to Career Services if this commitment cannot be met. In the business world, missing a scheduled appointment demonstrates a lack of respect and is not tolerated.

Tardiness also shows a lack of professionalism. Career Services recognizes that sometimes delays occur. Please notify us if you will not arrive on time. However, being tardy to your appointment may shorten the time available to meet with you.

No Show for Events

Career Services has implemented a fee for all students who register for a Career Services event (i.e. Student/Alumni Networking Event and Etiquette Dinner) and do not attend. If you register for a Career Services event and do not attend, your student account will be billed according to the “per person” cost of the event. If you do register and then must cancel, please give a 24 hour notice to Career Services and you will not be charged the fee.
