Student Nurses Association
This is a professional organization for nursing students in any state approved program preparing for registered nurse licensure, or registered nurses in a program leading to a baccalaureate in nursing. Nursing students in generic masters and doctoral programs may also join. NSNA dues are $35 per year, plus state dues. (Ohio has no state dues).
There are two categories of membership in NSNA: active and sustaining. Only active members have privileges of membership and right to voting representation in NSNA's House of Delegates.
- Active: Students in state-approved programs preparing for registered nurse licensure or registered nurses in programs leading to a baccalaureate in nursing.
- Sustaining: Shall be open at the national level to any individual or organization interested in furthering the development and growth of NSNA, upon approval of the Board of Directors. Sustaining members shall receive literature and other information from the national office.
