Just Do It

At first I thought it was my new “industrial strength” support panty hose that caused the numbness in my legs.  It was my first year teaching junior high students. When I went to the doctor that October day, I thought I had pinched a nerve in my legs.  Three weeks later, I came out of the hospital with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). It was 1975 and I was 22.

Faculty Profile with Dr. Adam Hodge

This month, the Vitruvian staff had the honor of interviewing Dr. Adam Hodge, a member of the faculty in the Lourdes Department of History. 

Dr. Hodge, a native of Northeast Ohio, took an interesting route in his journey to Lourdes University.  He completed his undergrad at Thiel College in Pennsylvania, and went on to finish his graduate work at Kent State. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for his PhD.

Two Stressful Days
