Crediting her Lourdes education with giving her the professional accounting skills needed to succeed, Nicole is also grateful for all her classes. "I have learned how to better communicate with others. The classes I have taken have opened my eyes for what to expect in the work field. With such a warm, welcoming environment, I am contemplating returning after graduation to pursue my master's degree."

First, however, Nicole is focused on graduating and eventually successfully passing the test to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She considers her Lourdes scholarship "the best opportunity I have ever been given. Lourdes has given me and taught me so much.

"I will always share with people the love I have for this place, and how they too can be impacted so much by attending this school. I will forever be grateful for what Lourdes and the donors have given me. My only hope is that one day, I will be able to give back so others will be able to benefit and realize their dreams!"

When not in the classroom, Nicole can be found on campus studying or doing homework in the library or at the Center for Professional Studies.
