Dr. Janet RobinsonDr. Janet Robinson is an accomplished academic administrator involved in strategic planning, program management, budgeting, faculty governance, assessment, and accreditation processes at Lourdes. As Provost, Dr. Robinson is responsible for overseeing faculty matters, curricular development, academic standards, and other duties traditionally associated with the office of chief academic officer.

Dr. Robinson holds a B.S.N. degree from Mercy College of Detroit, an M.S.N. from Wayne State University, and a Ph.D. from Wayne State University. Prior to her arrival at Lourdes, she served as Associate Dean of the Nursing Graduate Program, Director of Advanced Practice Nursing Programs, and tenured Professor at the Medical College of Ohio. In recognition of her achievements at MCO, she was awarded the Prism Award for Teaching Excellence in 1999, 2001, and 2002.

In addition to her responsibilities as Provost, Dr. Robinson is a Professor in the Lourdes University College of Nursing. Dr. Robinson is very familiar with Lourdes, having served both as a member of the Nursing faculty from 1992 - 1997 and as Associate Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the School of Nursing from 1994 - 1997.
