Lourdes Scholarships for Transfer Students 2010-11
Scholarships can come from a variety of different resources, and do not need to be repaid. Students transferring to Lourdes College for the first time may be eligible to apply for the following scholarships.
Transfer Student Merit Scholarships
Lourdes College offers internal scholarships for new transfer students who begin their full-time enrollment during the 2010-11 academic year. These scholarships will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility criteria. Students must file the FAFSA in order to be considered for these scholarships. Award amounts vary based on transfer GPA as follows:
$2000 Award
- $1,000 per semester
- 3.5 to 4.0 College GPA
- Renewable for four consecutive semesters if student:
- Maintains 3.5 GPA (minimum)
- Continuous full-time enrollment
$1500 Award:
- $750 per semester
- 3.0 to 3.49 College GPA
- Renewable for four consecutive semesters if student:
- Maintains 3.0 GPA (minimum)
- Continuous full-time enrollment
$1000 Award:
- $500 per semester
- 2.75 to 2.99 College GPA
- Renewable for four consecutive semesters if student:
- Maintains 2.75 GPA (minimum)
- Continuous full-time enrollment
David Gall Memorial Scholarship – Ohio Transfer Council (OTC)
- Undergraduate transfer student with cumulative gpa of 3.0 and completion of at least 24 credit hours

Lourdes College Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa are eligible. If you are a member, you must notify your Admissions Counselor. Full-time ($1,000) and Part-time ($500) student awards are available per academic year. Students must remain in good academic standing at the College (no minimum enrollment for Part-time students).
- File a FAFSA
- Be a member of Phi Theta Kappa
- Continuous enrollment required (full or part-time)
- Renewable for up to four semesters (not available in Summer)
Community Award
Award:
- $500 per semester for one academic year, or 2 semesters
Criteria:
- Part-time, New to Lourdes College
- Enrolled at least six credit hours and maintain part-time enrollment
- Complete FAFSA process
- No GPA requirement
