Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Registered Nurse (RN) to BSN program is designed for the RN who desires to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The Lourdes University program recognizes the past and current achievement of the registered nurse.
As a RN to BSN applicant, you may qualify for advanced standing admission and receive upper division nursing credit for prior learning. The Lourdes University College of Nursing award-winning curriculum provides nursing majors with a general education and foundation for lifelong learning and post-graduate education in nursing.
The coursework is based on the liberal arts and enhances knowledge, skills and values essential to working in health care systems. Lourdes’ unique setting combined with small class size and adaptable class schedules enriches classroom and learning experiences. In addition, state-of-the-art technology and modern learning resources are available in the nursing lab and the Flasck Nursing Center.
With your BSN degree, you are prepared to pursue an advanced position in the health care industry as well as graduate school. Some RNs choose to enroll in the RN to MSN program which allows them to achieve their Master of Science in Nursing degree with less credit hours and expense.
