Employed in every industry, human resource managers plan, direct and coordinate the administrative functions of organizations. Duties include overseeing and handling the recruiting process, consulting with key executives on strategic planning, and being the liaison between a company’s management personnel and employees.

Lourdes University human resource management majors gain valuable internship experience and upon graduation, have the skills and knowledge needed to properly practice and manage the human resource department in today’s business world. Many Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management graduates go onto pursue graduate school in a variety of fields including labor relations, industrial relations and law.

High achieving students can choose to apply for membership as a Dean’s Scholar or Honors Program candidate.
