With a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration, you are prepared pursue career success as a marketing, management or human resource professional for college and professional sports teams. Duties of a sports administrator can include fundraising, procurement, supply chain management, general administration tasks, marketing, managing budgets, scheduling sporting events and overseeing the recruitment and training of staff.
The Sports Administration major is designed for individuals who have an interest in sports administration and need the integrating core concepts of a business administration curriculum. From a career opportunity perspective, students within this course of study receive basic preparation for an array of roles in the sports industry including professional, intercollegiate, recreational, and club sports.
