What if a program helps change lives? What if it has the power to transform reality and inspire future educational opportunities? Fortunately, there is such a program at Lourdes College – the TRiO Student Support Services program.
In the last five years, Captain Amanda Merritt ('04) has served as a Medical Surgical Nurse at Fort Bliss, Texas in El Paso; as an ICU/Flight Nurse in Baghdad, Iraq; and as a Charge Nurse of Same Day Surgery at Fort Bliss.
This summer, a group of Lourdes College students will travel to Europe where they will spend two weeks studying art and art history at the Studio Art Centers International (SACI).
In January, students Chelsea Aiello (Nursing) and Annessa Stahler (Early Childhood Education) returned from their Franciscan Pilgrimage to Assisi and Rome, Italy.

The Lourdes College Life Lab, located in the Learning Center Hall, has been providing an interactive plant and animal learning laboratory for pre-K through eighth grade students for over 20 years.
