Lourdes Life Lab named Certified Wildlife Habitat

The Lourdes Life Lab was named a Certified Wildlife Habitat™ this past fall by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF). As a Wildlife Habitat, the Life Lab's outdoor garden space is now part of a worldwide network of mini-refuges supporting plant and animal life while working to conserve natural resources.

Feeding the multitudes in new Lourdes mural

In 2011, Sr. Jane Mary Sorosiak, OSF, former Art Professor, spent a good portion of her time making the first mural for the newly named Lourdes University. Located on the south wall of the dining hall, she created an image from John's Gospel wherein Jesus feeds the multitudes.
