The success of the art programs at Lourdes can be seen firsthand through the College's alumni who are excelling in the field. Whether working for community organizations, in a school setting or as independent artists and exhibitors, Lourdes art alumni are truly making their mark.

As the owner and operator of the Hudson Gallery, Barbara Hudson is one of the many Lourdes alumni who have found success in the field of art.
The beginnings of her career can be traced back to her time as an undergraduate when she worked at the Lourdes College art gallery as an organizer and liaison between artists and the school. From there, Barbara continued to excel and she, along with her husband Scott, eventually opened a frame shop and small art gallery on their own.
The Hudson Gallery opened its doors on Monroe Street in Sylvania seven years ago. Today, the gallery features the works of local artists and showcases glass art, fine crafts, prints and paintings. "I'm very lucky to work with something every day that I truly have a passion for," shares Barbara.
