Spring semester is in full swing. As the sun shines longer each day, the campus is bustling with students preparing final presentations and studying for midterms. Many are making career plans as they get ready to graduate.
Faculty, staff and the administration are not only working with students this semester but laying the groundwork for the 2011-2012 academic year when we become Lourdes University. The Graduate School is planning to announce its newest master's programs.
Student Life is taking the necessary steps to offer an expanded food service to all students. The Athletics Coaches are recruiting for the three newest sports to debut in fall 2011 and spring 2012.
Simply stated, the Lourdes Community is continuing to provide our students with the Franciscan educational experience for which we are so well-known.
As you read through this edition, enjoy the latest news and features about the Theology and Biology departments, Lifelong Learning, the Student Pilgrimage Program and the Sylvania Franciscan Village. Please remember to mark your calendar for the lecture series offered by the Art and History departments.
As always, you are welcome to join the faculty, staff and board members as we congratulate and celebrate the achievements of our students during Commencement Week. As a parent, friend, alumni or auxiliary member, you are an important part of the Lourdes Community.
