Lourdes’ chapter of Phi Beta Lambda partnered with the College of Business & Leadership to host an event featuring speakers with Becker Professional Education. Becker provides quality preparation for the CPA exam, accounting, project management, healthcare, and continuing education programming.
Master of Education Dean Michael Smith, PhD, and Field Experience Coordinator Gayle Burrer traveled to the Pan-American School in Porto Alegra, Brazil. The team was there working to establish a partnership between Lourdes Education Department and the Panamerican School.

Lourdes’ College of Nursing is one of four schools nationwide to receive the Innovations in Professional Nursing Education Award. Given by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, others receiving the award included Kent State University, Misericordia University, and The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Art students Jessica Czekala and Stephanie Dowdrick hosted an exhibit of works of art in partial fulfillment of their Bachelor of Arts degrees. Jessica Czekala is originally from Warwick, Rhode Island, and is concentrating in Pre-Art Therapy. Stephanie Dowdrick is from Toledo, Ohio, and is a studio major.
