Graduation & Diploma Information

When embarking on your journey to earn a degree at Lourdes University, Commencement Day seems so far away. Now you are entering your final semester of study, and it is time to apply for graduation.

You may wonder, “Why must I apply to graduate? Shouldn’t the University know?” While we have a good idea when students are close to completing their academic requirements, only students know the exact semester they intend to finish. When students apply to graduate, we begin auditing their degree requirements, allowing us to communicate information about the commencement ceremony.

Here are your quick steps to graduate:

  • Complete a graduation application with an academic advisor.
  • Pay the graduation fee.
  • Submit your application.
  • Order your cap and gown (if participating in commencement) – once notified of ordering instructions by email.
  • Continue to check your email, mail, and this webpage for updates regarding graduation.
  • Graduate!
