First Year Experience

A private education costs less than you may think! Lourdes provides one of the lowest private university tuition rates in the State of Ohio and nationwide, and is comparable in price to many 4-year public universities.

Paying for your education is usually a partnership that can include: the student/family, the federal and state government, the institution, and the private sector. We understand the financial aid process sometimes can be confusing, but we are here to help.

Scholarships can come from a variety of different resources, and do not need to be repaid. To learn more about the scholarships you may be eligible to apply for, please select the categories that best describe you.

Federal Work Study Program

The Federal Work Study (FWS) program is a source of federally funded, need-based financial aid whereby eligible students can search for and obtain a job working on or off campus at a pre-determined FWS location. A student may work up to 20 hours per week and earn a paycheck biweekly. Students who demonstrate financial need based on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may be eligible for work study.
