Scholarships & Aid for Transfer Students
Merit Scholarships for Full-Time Transfer Students
This grant is awarded based on financial need. Eligibility is determined by the Financial Aid Office.
Students and student-athletes living on campus MAY qualify for this award. Award applied to housing charges only.
More than $1 million dollars in talent scholarships are awarded to athletes in several Gray Wolves sports. Award levels are determined by coaches.
*Lourdes Community Award
$2,000 scholarship per year awarded to students who live more than 35 miles away and are required to be RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS.
*Ohio Welcome Award
$1,500 scholarship per year awarded to students who will COMMUTE from their home in southern Michigan AND have an EFC of 0-2190.
Tau Scholarship for Full-Time Students
Five $2,000 scholarships awarded annually to selected students who demonstrate potential to exemplify Catholic and Franciscan values in their relationship with others. Recipients work an average of 4-5 hours per week with Campus Ministry. REQUIREMENTS: High School/College GPA 3.2 or higher. Students must apply by March 1 and be accepted into the program. Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for Full-Time Transfer Students
$1,000 Scholarship per academic year provided to eligible full-time transfer students and student-athletes who are members of Phi Theta Kappa. Students must notify their Admissions Counselor of their membership and maintain good academic standing. Limited to 4 semesters.
*Detroit Metro Award
Up to $5,300 scholarship awarded in FIRST YEAR ONLY to students from the Detroit Metro area including Oakland, McComb and Wayne counties. Offered in conjunction with other housing-specific awards including Honors Housing Award, Lourdes Community Award and the Wolf Grant.
*Cannot be combined with Athletic Awards
Part-time Students & Transfers
New students can receive up to $10K distributed equally over a maximum of eight continuous semesters (not including summer).
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Part-time transfer students and student-athletes who are members of Phi Theta Kappa may be awarded $500 per academic year. Students must notify their Admissions Counselor of their membership and maintain good academic standing. Limited to 4 semesters.
