Newly Admitted Graduate Students

To do before classes start:

1. Confirm your intent to enroll with the Graduate School.

   Once you receive your letter of acceptance you will need to sign and return your Intent to Enroll in order to be formally admitted to the Graduate School. Returning the Intent to Enroll triggers registration into the first courses of your program.

2. Obtain your Student ID and Parking Pass

   Visit the Welcome Center to get your student ID and parking pass. Bring your license plate number with you. The Welcome Center staff can be reached by calling our main number 419-885-3211.

3. Start or Confirm your Financial Aid

   All graduate students should fill out the FAFSA form at www.fafsa.ed.gov If you have questions, please contact the Financial Aid office 419-824-3732 or finaid@lourdes.edu

4. Access the Lourdes Portal

   The Portal contains a link to your Email Account, Web for Students, and Sakai Course Management System. You will be able to print a bill, check your schedule and access financial aid information from Web for Students.

   To log-on to the Lourdes Portal:
   
   Go to: mycampus.lourdes.edu and log in with the following information:

   Username: <firstname.lastname>

   Password: your password is the first four digits of your birthday (MMDD) and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Example: Birthdate - January 3, 1964 (0103) and Social Security number 123-45-6789 (6789). Therefore, the password is 01036789.
   If you are not able to log-on to the portal, please call the help desk at 419-824-3807 or helpdesk@lourdes.edu

5. Once you are registered for classes, purchase your Books

   Books can be purchased/rented in the bookstore. You will need to have your course number/s handy in order to obtain the correct books. To view the books necessary for your course/s, please go to the Academic Course Schedule.
   Under the appropriate semester, choose Graduate. This will open a pdf document that lists all of the courses offered in that particular semester. Find your course and click on the red View Books. For bookstore questions call: 419-824-3694 or visit them at their off-campus location in the shopping plaza at the corner of McCord and Brint Roads.
