Franciscan Pilgrimage

The Franciscan Pilgrimage brings together students of various faith traditions from Franciscan Institutions across the United States to reflect on and learn from the vision and values of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi. The Pilgrimage includes time for reflection, study, conversation, leisure, relaxation and visits to sacred Franciscan places in Assisi and Rome.

Day 1 Recap

Posted by: studentpilgrims on 12/29/2011

What a beautiful day in Rome! Got here at 7 as the sun was rising, checked into a room with an awesome view, fed pigeons at Vatican square and toured ancient Rome. One day down, nine more to go!

Tomorrow: St. Peters tour, visit the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museum, and Colosseum, finding the best place for pizza and experiencing a little bit of the night life!
