The Appold Planetarium features SciDome, a single projector fulldome video system powered by Starry Night that allows real-time 3D sky simulation, fulldome shows and multi-media presentations.

Were the Apollo visits to the moon actually a hoax? Have aliens landed on Earth? Can you tell your future by the stars? Prepare to debunk and tackle pseudoscience head-on with the new planetarium show Bad Astronomy: Myths and Misconceptions.
Based on the popular book and website of the same name, Bad Astronomy offers a unique and fun approach to learning about the cosmos. Join the “Bad Astronomer” Phil Plait as he takes a critical look at popular myths and misconceptions to show audiences how science can be used to evaluate questionable claims.

Dawn of the Space Age begins with the launch of Sputnik and the beginnings of the Space Race. It includes a visual tour of important Russian space history as well as the American Gemini, Apollo and Shuttle programs. Along the way are glimpses of the Viking mission to Mars and the Voyager mission to the outer planets. The film also takes you to the International Space Station, the “X-prize” winning private space ship and on to future Mars exploration. Be immersed and overwhelmed with this most accurate historic reconstruction of Man's first steps into space. With increasing international cooperation and commercial spaceflight, we are now on the brink of a new dawn of the space age!
