College Credit Policies
College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Credit
Lourdes University will accept AP credit assuming a prescribed score is attained on the subject exam.
Transient or Transfer Credit (Post-Secondary Enrollment Options)
Lourdes University does grant college credit for classes that a student completes at a local college while in high school. As long as the student attains a passing grade (C or better) in a college-level course from an accredited institution of higher learning, course credit will be granted. Only the credits transfer to LU, not the grades received in the courses. At a minimum, credits will be accepted as general electives.
Upon the decision to enroll at Lourdes University (submission of an enrollment deposit), students should contact the Registrar’s Office of the college or university at which the classes were taken and request an official transcript be sent to the Lourdes University Office of Undergraduate Admission at 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania, Ohio 43560.
