
P-4 Community Partnership
The 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, signed a community partnership agreement on March 22, 2017 with five local universities creating a mutually beneficial relationship between the 180FW and the region.
Lourdes University is proud to be a member of this P-4 Community Partnership Initiative supporting Higher Degree Attainment. Our institution is dedicated to collaborating and cooperating in ways that benefit the 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard, current students in institutions of higher education, and the citizens of northwest Ohio to achieve higher degree attainment. This commitment supports the goals of the state of Ohio to increase the educational attainment of Ohioans by 2025.
The collaboration between the 180th Fighter Wing, Lourdes University, Bowling Green State University, The University of Toledo, Owens Community College and Tiffin University includes offering activities and services such as:
- Hosting Education Fairs on base for airmen
- Offering classes in cooperation with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), Associate, Undergraduate and Graduate degree completion
- Supporting the use of CLEP and DANTES examinations and information on degree applicability of successful exam completion in accordance with state recommendations
- Supporting military members and the partnership in order to increase degree progress and attainment
The primary function of the partnership is the sharing of information addressing the educational needs and interest of airmen and the offerings of these higher education institutions.
