This position participates in all phases of the graduate student recruitment process and reports directly to the Vice President of Enrollment. This position will be student focused in helping prospective graduate students through the application, enrollment, retention and graduation process. Nights and weekends may be required for events.



  • Be the point of communication for prospective graduate students and program directors. Including but not limited to answering the main graduate school email, responding to the main graduate school line phone calls, and assisting program directors in gathering needed application materials.
  • Work with program directors to establish agreements with local schools and businesses to recruit prospective graduate students
  • Oversee Graduate Admission student workers.
  • Work with program directors to streamline their recruitment and admission process including evaluate applicant files and move students through the workflow.
  • Provides customer service to graduate students throughout the enrollment cycle. From recruitment, to enrollment, to retention, to graduation.
  • Oversee reporting of graduate enrollment and retention data, including but not limited to enrollment goals, number of applicants, and general student data.
  • Represent Lourdes as needed for recruitment events at college fairs, internal events and community events.
  • Assist with special projects that are a part of the overall strategic plan.
  • Work closely with the Office of Student Financial Aid to provide students with accurate information and counseling concerning basic aspects of the financial aid process.
  • Observe the process of the development and/or revision of the University’s admission standards.



  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • One to three years in a related educational position and/or higher education preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish is desirable.
  • A valid driver’s license with the ability and willingness to travel.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning abilities.
  • Familiarity with PC applications, a CRM, and on-line technology.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Desire to be actively involved with the campus community.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and professionalism.
