Father James Bacik Endowed Chair

Named in honor of Father James Bacik, the $500,000 Endowed Chair in Theological Studies will be used to provide the following transformational opportunities:

• Resources to support the housing of Father James Bacik’s archives at Lourdes University
• Funding a scholarship for undergraduate and graduate Theological Studies students
• Providing the resources necessary to become competitive in recruiting respected faculty who are exceptionally well-prepared in their profession and have extensive teaching experience
• Improving the students’ learning experience with advanced technology tools and materials within the field of Theological Studies
• Facilitating programs that allow our students to serve our community
• Increasing professional development opportunities for the Father Bacik Chair
• Supporting an ongoing lecture series, named in honor of Father Bacik
