Business Administration and Sports Management

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science in Sports Management programs continue the Lourdes University and COBAL vision of being a student-centered experience. Ethics and breakthrough practices are taught to all College of Business & Leadership students. These programs push boundaries on experiential learning and hands on experience. Using simulations to enhance real world decision-making skills and problem-solving techniques, students develop the skillset and knowledge to excel in the business & sports industries.

There is not another industry that is as vibrant and exhilarating as sports. Lourdes students explore the history of professional, college, and recreational sports, sports marketing, facilities, and leadership, and immerse themselves into how legal and ethical considerations impact the sports world we experience today. Lourdes University sports management students make industry connections that include, but are not limited to, professionals from the Toledo Mud Hens, Detroit Pistons, Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles, and Chicago Blackhawks. Many of these connections are used to create on the job learning opportunities for our students that are interwoven into the curriculum.

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program provides students with the tools and experience to tackle an array of opportunities in the industry. Students will hone their marketing, management, accounting, and financial skills through simulation and hands on experience that mirror the business world.
