
Apply for Graduation
Lourdes University has three graduation periods each academic year, one for each term—Summer, Fall, and Spring. Students must apply to graduate during the term in which they intend to finish their academic requirements.
Undergraduate and graduate students must submit their applications by the deadlines listed below. See the “Undergraduate Degree Applicants” and “Graduate Degree Applicants” for specific information about how to apply.
Application periods for graduation are as follows:
Summer 2023
Application deadline of Friday, June 23, 2023
Graduates are encouraged to walk in the Fall 2023 commencement ceremony which is still to be determined.
Fall 2023
Application deadline of Friday, September 22, 2023
Commencement date of Saturday, December 9, 2023
Spring 2024
Application deadline of Friday, February 23, 2024
Commencement date of Saturday, May 4, 2024
Undergraduate Degree Applicants
Undergraduate students must work with their academic advisors to complete the paper application. Undergraduate applications are also available for pick-up in the Registrar’s Office. Applications must be completed and returned to the Registrar’s Office by the deadline.
A fee is required with your application, regardless of your intent to participate in the ceremony. The fee can be paid to the Cashier’s Office in person. An application will be considered incomplete if the fee is not paid.
Graduate Degree Applicants
Graduate students must submit the online application by the deadline. The online application will be sent to each student’s graduate program director for preliminary review, and the program director will forward the application to the Registrar’s Office.
