As a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management major, you will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in accounting, human resources, marketing, and business administration. The distinctive curriculum offers both a broad business education and an in-depth insight of sports management at the college, professional and Olympic levels. The program includes a sports management internship. Working with your advisor, choose and apply for the internship that best meets your career goals.
The Sports Management major is designed for individuals who have an interest in sports management and need the integrating core concepts of a business administration curriculum. From a career opportunity perspective, students within this course of study receive basic preparation for an array of roles in the sports industry including professional, intercollegiate, recreational, and club sports. Graduates can also choose to pursue a master’s degree in a specific area of sports management.
