Lourdes University Instructor of Business David Harms is among an elite group of educators selected to participate in a Fulbright-Hays Short-Term Group Project Abroad titled Walking Witness: Civic Responsibility in the Shadow of the Holocaust.
Lourdes University’s athletic department may be young, but it’s already proving itself mighty in the world of collegiate sports. In its brief 4-year history, competitive cheer, men’s and women’s volleyball, and men’s basketball have all qualified for national tournament competitions.
As part of Lourdes University’s master plan, the institution accumulated approximately 10 acres over the past 6 years including the former bus property off Brint and McCord Roads. After working with Sylvania city administration to have the planned development approved, Lourdes broke ground on the first phase of its Mid-Campus expansion last fall.
The Lourdes University community shares its Franciscan values of community, learning, reverence and service with our local community as well as communities across our nation and the globe. Their work doesn’t stop when summer begins. In fact, Lourdes students seek out outreach and service learning projects to participate in year ‘round.
