The Lourdes University Gray Wolves teams are getting their own home court and home field! In August, the Northview High School / Lourdes University Athletic Complex officially opened. The men’s and women’s lacrosse and the inaugural soccer teams are hosting their NAIA rivals on a new competition-level field.

In September, Gray Wolves teams and students gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony of the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center. The center is named after Russell Ebeid, renowned world business leader and adamant supporter of higher education. The philanthropist is known at Lourdes through his support of the student center in Delp Hall and the academic hall both named in his honor.

Over the past four decades, Mr. Ebeid has lent his expertise and support to benefit countless causes. As retired president of Guardian Glass Group, he aided the company in becoming a global powerhouse in the glass industry.

The Gray Wolves basketball and volleyball teams will begin hosting NAIA rivals in the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center in August 2016.
