The Lourdes community has much to celebrate this year. Together, we have enhanced our academic and student life programs, provided more study abroad and internship opportunities, and established home fields and soon a home court for our Gray Wolves teams and their proud fans.
Our alumni continue to achieve success in their chosen professions and inspire future generations of college students. Through the guidance and support of the board of trustees, advisory councils, university leadership, alumni and friends, Lourdes University now offers its most robust private college experience ever.
As President, I am proud of our Catholic and Franciscan university and grateful to our sponsors, the Sisters of St. Francis. Thousands of Lourdes graduates have been able to achieve their degree because of Mother Adelaide Sandusky’s vision and the shared dedication of Sylvania Franciscans.
In December, the Sisters of St. Francis will begin celebrating their centennial anniversary. On behalf of the entire Lourdes community, I congratulate and thank Congregational Minister Sr. Mary Jon Wagner, OSF, and all the Sylvania Franciscans past and present for enriching our lives and communities.
