As an instructional designer for Lourdes University, Anna has a goal of creating an e-learning environment that allows students to thrive in a self-paced, competency-based educational model. The Competency-Based Education programs have been developed with expertise and knowledge that have helped Lourdes University become a leader in higher education. As the university continues to grow in new learning modalities, Anna’s role as an instructional designer is to ensure the successful integration of technology and academic integrity into the Competency-Based Education programs. With many years of experience as an educator, she understands the benefits and joy that accessible education can bring to a student.

Outside of instructional design, Anna’s interests include traveling, reading, crafting, and enjoying nature with her husband, Mike, and their Goldendoodle, Otis. Before joining Lourdes University, Anna worked in academic advising and admissions. And, before that, she worked as an elementary school teacher. Life-long education continues to be a passion of hers in the hopes of spreading that love with new students.

As a 419 native, Anna is excited to return to her local roots and serve the Gray Wolf community!
