Chantell Cargile, MBA, Director of Human Resources
In her Lourdes leadership role, Ms. Cargile is responsible for all human resources policies, procedures and programs. She also works closely with the Manager of Organizational Equity on recruiting and onboarding new hires.
Bringing several years of HR and project management experience to Lourdes University, Ms. Cargile previously served as the Human Resources Manager for Root, Inc. where she supported strategic initiatives through the design, development and implementation of a new HR information system while leading and recommending employee relations, compensation and plan design strategies.
A human resources professional with a passion for delivering high-quality results that exceed objectives, Ms. Cargile is also a strong advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion. Knowledgeable in Unconscious Bias and Diversity & Inclusion, during her tenure with Owens Corning, she created and led committees and trainings such as the African American Resource Group, an Unconscious Bias Company Initiative and the Diversity Leadership Summit.
Ms. Cargile’s education includes a MBA in human resource management from Tiffin University and a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Akron.
