Dr. Karl Heidrich is an Assistant Professor at Lourdes University instructing in both the teacher education program and graduate educational leadership program. For over 25 years, Dr. Heidrich has served as an educational leader, including 21 years of service at Stockbridge Community Schools in Michigan as a Secondary Principal and then in 2012 as Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Heidrich has held additional positions in his career as a science teacher, interim superintendent, athletic director, alternative education director, human resource director, Title IX coordinator, and as a coach. Further, Dr. Heidrich served as an adjunct professor at Siena Heights University from 2006-2012 in the educational leadership master’s and specialist degree programs. Certifications include superintendent and administrative licenses for both Michigan and Ohio. Dr. Heidrich has three educational leadership degrees including a Ph. D. from Eastern Michigan University, an Ed. S. from Siena Heights University, and a M. Ed. From University of Toledo. Dr. Heidrich also received a B.S. degree from Hillsdale College.
