Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce
B.S. Marketing- 2019
One of my favorite things about COBAL is that it upholds it’s motto. At first, being taught business as a noble profession was just something I heard my professors say. As time went on, I found myself becoming knowledgeable not only about course content but also developed a true desire to conduct business as a noble profession. Once I began my internship at the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce last summer, it quickly occurred to me that a position such as that is what “business as a noble profession” is all about. Serving the city I was born and raised in through business and community initiatives simply felt like the perfect combination of utilizing what I’ve gained through my courses in a meaningful and noble way. So, to be returning to the Chamber in a post grad position has made me very grateful to COBAL for instilling the concept of business as a noble profession.
