Shawn Litten is a retired health care executive with over 35 years of experience in long-term care.

He received his B.A in social work from University of Akron and his M.B.A. from West Virginia University. Shawn began his career as a licensed nursing home administrator and moved into accreditation of long-term care, sub-acute, assisted living and behavioral health facilities in his work as a surveyor for the Joint Commission on Health Care Accreditation.

He is a past member of the American College of Health Care Administrators and Quality Committee Member of the Ohio Healthcare Association. As an adjunct instructor at Lourdes, Shawn teaches content related to his areas of expertise: Non-Profit Marketing, Financial Management for Healthcare Professionals, Healthcare Information Systems, Health Care Quality and Outcomes, Healthcare Policy, and Intro to Healthcare Delivery Systems.
