Spring term is always an exciting time for our Senior Tau Scholars. Each of them took some time out of their hectic schedules to share a few reflections about their time at Lourdes and their future plans.

Name: Savanna Wilson

Smiling young woman

Home city: Phoenix, AZ

Major: Nursing

First enrolled at Lourdes: 2016

Primary focus as a Tau Scholar: Soup and Scripture

Highlight of your time here: Spending time with and growing alongside of my trusty soup and scripture group!

A favorite experience while a Lourdes student: My favorite thing about Lourdes is the nature around it.

What do you hope to do with your degree? I have been hired as a Toledo Hospital Labor and Delivery Nurse

Other message for students and/or future Tau Scholars: I have no idea! Don’t become a nurse in a pandemic LOL

Honors that you’ve received:

  • Sigma Theta Tau
  • Champion of Character for Track

What do you like to do as a hobby or in your free time? Felting; Painting; Exploring Metroparks

Other activities you’ve been involved while at Lourdes: Track; Honors Society; Tutoring

Something Profound that you want to say: “It is only a moment in time.”
