The Ireland Experience 2014

After a long journey, we have arrived in Tullycross. We are tired but are amazed by the beauty and what the area has to offer. Students have begun to settle into the cottages and are exploring the area. We spent the afternoon setting up the study cottage and working to get unpacked and connecting with family and friends back home.

Anne Jack came through the cottages to let everyone know how to operate the utilities and the importance of conservation of energy. One of the most welcoming sites coming into town is seeing the Lourdes University flag flying at the church. You can see the flag in the picture attached.

A few students have walked down to the store in Tully to explore what food options are available and pick up some basic necessities. In the next few days we are heading out to Connemara West and then off to Dublin later in the week.
