Lourdes University appoints new Director of Donor Relations
Lourdes University Vice President of Institutional Advancement Vicki J. Stouffer, CFRE, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brittany Telander, Director of Donor Relations. In this role, Ms. Telander is responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term advancement plans to meet established development goals and objectives. Her portfolio will include strategic initiatives for securing major gifts, employee giving campaigns, corporate and foundation grants, and endowment gifts.
Bringing almost 10 years of development and donor relations experience to this position, Ms. Telander has successfully assisted in implementing donor retention plans, exceeded revenue goals, and developed relationships with community partners to increase support and awareness. Prior to her appointment at Lourdes University, Ms. Telander was a Major Gift Officer at ProMedica Health Systems, where she worked with 150 corporate and individual prospects. Ms. Telander’s work with ProMedica also included working with community partners to raise support and awareness of shared goals in improving health and well-being throughout Greater Toledo communities.
From 2015 to 2018, Ms. Telander worked as a Development Director for the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance in Chicago, IL. While in this position, Ms. Telander worked with the Development Manager to meet budgeted revenue goals, securing 7.6% above the annual corporate budget. She also expanded the foundation portfolio revenue stream from $30,000 to $400,000 in three years.

A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, Ms. Telander was a double major, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business, and English. She also received a Master’s degree from Roosevelt University in Creative Writing.
