
Lourdes University Revives Master of Organizational Leadership Program to Empower Future Leaders
Lourdes University is thrilled to announce the revival of its Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) program, set to commence in the spring of 2024. With a rich history dating back to its inception in January 2003, this program has successfully prepared approximately 430 alumni, including notable figures such as Chrys Peterson, Owner of Chrys Peterson Consulting; George Brymer, President and Chief Creative Officer, The Creative Block; James Cooper, Senior Manufacturing Plant Manager at First Solar; Carol Bintz, Chief Operating Officer at the Toledo Museum of Art; and Steve Katich, Chief of Staff for Representative Marcy Kaptur.

The MOL program, offered by the Lourdes University College of Business and Leadership, is designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to lead effectively in today’s dynamic and diverse workplace environments. We made it more focused on the needs of working professionals. We love to work with organizations, and we can tailor the program to their specific needs, which includes modality (online vs. in-person) and location (on-campus vs. on corporate sites).”

- General Leadership: Core courses include Leadership Foundations, Diversity and Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Interpersonal Issues in Leadership, Financial Tools for Leaders & Organizations, and Leadership & Organizational Development. The track courses encompass Leadership & Organizational Behavior, Strategic Thinking, and Connective Leadership and Cultural Competence, with a capstone project to conclude.
- Healthcare Leadership: Core courses consist of Leadership Foundations, Diversity and Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Interpersonal Issues in Leadership, Financial Tools for Leaders & Organizations, and Leadership & Organizational Development. The track courses cover Financial Management in Healthcare, Strategic Healthcare Planning, and Public Policy and Healthcare, with a capstone project to conclude the program.
- Leadership Research: Core courses consist of Leadership Foundations, Diversity and Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Interpersonal Issues in Leadership, Financial Tools for Leaders & Organizations, and Leadership & Organizational Development. The track courses cover Strategic Thinking, Quantitative Tools for Leadership, and Research Methods and Statistical Analysis, with a capstone project to conclude the program.
